With every classroom secured, Tina peeked back into the hallway. The wolves still prowled restlessly, the odd object clutched in the alpha’s mouth.
A surge of adrenaline gave her courage. Grabbing a broom, Tina banged it loudly against the wall and floor, drawing the wolves’ attention. Their sharp eyes locked onto her, and she began backing away, leading them carefully down the hallway and away from the classrooms.
At the end of the corridor, she found the school’s storage room, opened the door, and slipped inside with the wolves following close behind.
