
With slow, measured movements, Tina reached for the door handle behind her. She could feel the alpha’s eyes watching her every move. Whispering a silent prayer, she turned the handle and slipped out of the room, closing the door behind her before the wolves could react.
Breathless, Tina sprinted through the now eerily silent halls, searching for help. She found several teachers huddled in the staff room, their faces pale with fear. “We need animal control—there are wolves in the storage room!” she urged, but her plea was met with only hesitation and uncertainty.
